On fresh buying by investors, the domestic bourses ended with decent gains after a steep fall on global crude oil prices. After opening lower, domestic stocks firmed up up as the session proceeded. Though in mid morning session indices trimmed gains and swinging in narrow range. Then again it late trade, once again it firmed up and hit fresh intraday high. The market breadth was positive. The Nifty 50 gained 71.20 points and settled the day at 11008.05. PSU Banks were the major gainers of the day and FMCG sector were the major losers of the day.
