Benchmark indices traded another session being tensed and ended lower to finish in red on account of disappointing earnings posted by Tata Motors and Sun Pharma which dampened the market sentiments. Although the global cues were supportive domestic market did not show recovery on intraday as well and ended for the fifth trading session lower. Nifty ended the day at 8749.55.
The FMCG stocks were the gainers for the day while Auto and Pharma stocks were the losers of the day.
