Benchmark indices traded in red and ended lower on the second trading session of the week as investors remained cautious ahead of policy meeting of central banks in Japan and USA. Besides weak global cues because of easing crude oil prices kept the market lower. Nifty ended the session to close in red at 8775.90 i.e. 32.50 points lower.
Yes Bank, Infratel, ONGC and Eicher Motors were the top gainers of the day while Hero moto corp, Adani Ports and Bajaj Auto the top losers of the day.

- European stocks were mostly lower as investors remained cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve and Bank of Japan’s policy meetings this week and as oil prices took a downward turn.
