Key benchmark indices opened lower in early trade. After hovering in a range, indices trimmed losses and entered in positive terrain in late trade. Domestic bourses ended the volatile session almost flat as losses in banks shares negated gains in IT and pharma shares. The nifty lost 0.70 points and settled at 10767.65. However, the market breadth, indicating the overall health of the market, was positive. Pharma sector were the major gainers and FMCG sector were the major losers of the day.

Global Markets
Australia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Gold, Industrials and Metals & Mining sectors led shares lower. At the close in Sydney, the S&P/ASX 200 fell 0.07%.
Airbus SE is set to close a deal to take a controlling stake in Bombardier Inc’s C Series jetliner program, effective July 1.

Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Property, Holding Firms and Banking & Financials sectors led shares lower. The PSEi Composite declined 0.80%.
Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , Other Electronic and Electricity sectors led shares lower. At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted fell 0.85%.
